St. Paul's Book Group: Thursday Dec. 12th
Join us at 7:00 pm in the Fireside Room for an evening of fellowship, abundant snacks and lively discussion. The Peace Keeper by Sarah Addison Allen is the selection for this month. For more information, contact Heather Callanan.
Attention: Confirmation Candidates!
Please e-mail Rev. Stephanie if you are considering confirmation in June, and will be attending the December 15th gathering at 11:45 am to share baptismal stories.
Remember Their Names
Sunday, December 15th at 4:00 pm on the Town Hall Green. All those who were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School will be remembered, as well as those killed by gun violence this year in the U.S., especially children and youth. Future actions to reduce gun violence in the United States and in Connecticut will also be proposed.
Children's Christmas Party
Sunday, December 15th, 5:00-6:30 pm in the Parish Hall. The youth are hosting a Christmas party for ALL the children of St. Paul’s, with games, food, movies and more! Please e-mail Rev. Stephanie if your child(ren) can join us. (If your child is under 5 we ask that you stay with them.)
Foster Children's Bike Program
There is a large number of requests this year and we would like to provide as many bikes as possible. This ministry has a special meaning as it provides the children with a sense of freedom and joy that is often lacking in their lives. If you have a bike to give, please call Brian Griffin at 203-898-0323. To make a monetary donation, please make a check out to St. Paul’s with a note in the memo line indicating it is for the foster care bike program. Thank you for your continued support!
Christmas Eve Toy & Gift Collection
Let’s wrap it up for San Lucas y San Pablo Iglesia Episcopal. Bring a new wrapped gift to any Christmas Eve or Sunday service on December 29th for the celebration of Dia de los Tres Reyes (Three Kings Day) in January. Please indicate the age and gender for whom the gift is intended. Target, WalMart, or other gift cards are great for teens.
